Star Medi Transportation LLC is looking for a compassionate and reliable NEMT Driver to join our team in Millville, NJ. Responsibilities:

• Safely transport non-emergency medical patients to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, and healthcare facilities
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and documentation in compliance with NEMT regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and patients regarding scheduling and route updates
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA) guidelines
• Provide courteous, patient-centered service to elderly, disabled, and medically fragile passengers

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record
• Prior experience in NEMT, medical transport, or passenger transport preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience operating wheelchair lifts, ramps, and securing mobility devices
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor when working with vulnerable populations
